Anup Kumar was known as Captain Cool while Rakesh also captained India for a long period of time. It will be interesting to see whose guidance makes the most difference.

The biggest talking point is how Haryana Steelers cope with the raiding might of the Puneri Paltan. Haryana were the worst defensive team in PKL 6 with their inexperienced defence making needless errors consistently.
