Pro Kabaddi Season 7 Auctions: SWOT Analysis and Ratings of teams after auctions of PKL 7.

The Pro Kabaddi Season 7 auctions ended with teams having made their moves. In this article we look at the SWOT analysis of all the 12 teams.

Bengal Warriors

Strengths:

Strong Raiding:

Bengal already had one of the best raiders of the last PKL in Maninder Singh and have added more firepower with Prapanjan, Rakesh Narwal and Sukesh Hegde. On their day their raiding can blow away any defence.

Weakness:

Defensive Concerns:

The corners Baldev and Rinku are inexperienced and inconsistent, while Jeeva is a good defender he has struggled for form and fitness since the last year and is not the same player he once was. Their right cover Amit is also making his debut making their defence look a little short on experience.

Opportunities:

Bengal Warriors have made the play-offs in the last 2 PKL seasons, they will look to make their first ever PKL final.

Threats:

Bengal Warriors Iranian player Esmail Nabibaksh is a talented player but still will be making his PKL debut if he doesn’t acclimatize then Bengal are in serious danger of getting very low returns for 77.75 lakhs.

Lack of Leaders: Apart from Jeeva Kumar Bengal Warriors do not have a leader capable of guiding the team, if Jeeva is not on the mat there are question marks on who will lead the team and how the team will respond. Sukesh Hegde has previous captaincy experience with Gujarat but he is not a natural leader and there are question marks whether he will start for the Warriors.

Ratings: 7/10

Warriors have a strong raiding but inexperienced defence.
