Strengths:

Pardeep Narwal: Patna Pirates have arguably the best raider in PKL in Pardeep Narwal, with the “Dubki King” in their side Patna have a chance against any team.

Weakness:

Defence: Right Corner has been a problem position for Patna Pirates for the last 2 seasons and once again the Pirates have failed to reinforce the position. Overall apart from Nada the Defence doesn’t inspire confidence.

Opportunities:

Neeraj Kumar: The highly rated young right cover was signed for a huge fee of 44.50 lakhs and has a chance to make his mark in his debut Pro Kabaddi Season.

Threats: 

Patna Pirates have brought in former Bengal Warriors raider Jang Kun Lee and Iranian all-rounder Esmail Maghsoudou to support Pardeep. But Jang Kun Lee has struggled in the last 2 seasons and Esmail Maghsoudou is making his debut if they don’t get going Pardeep is going to be a lone warrior.

Ratings: 6/10

The Pirates will rely once again heavily on Pardeep to lead their charge but defence and support raiders need to contribute.
