On December 19th 2019, IPL 2020 Auctions would take place in Kolkata. With a total of 127 cricketers retained including 35 overseas players, we look at how each team stands before the auction. How much cash do each team have and how strong would they bid for the likely players.

With a spin heavy attack and likes of Indian pacers – Chahar, Thakur alongside Ngidi and Bravo, they will be looking for an Overseas pacer or an Overseas pacer with all-round ability would be a plus.
With Bravo struggling for form and fitness and Watson no longer bowling CSK might go for a pace bowling all-rounder.
Though they have Jagadeeshan and two part-time keepers like K Jadhav and A Rayudu, they can go for a backup overseas WK who can come in handy at the top as a backup opener as well for Du Plessis or Watson if needed.
Looking forward, CSK can chip in for few youngsters to provide back up and act as prospects for their ageing squad.
Many of the TN players who played a major role in Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy will also be in contention like R Sai Kishore, the leading wicket taker in the tournament with 20 wickets. Other youngsters like M Shahrukh Khan etc can also be considered during these IPL 2020 Auctions KKR.
