Let’s look at the SWOT analysis of Bengaluru Bulls
Strengths:
All-Round Potential: Explosive Raiding department led by Pawan and Chandran Ranjith, More GB is a decent all-rounder, while Amit Sheoran and Saurabh Nandal are fine upcoming corner defenders. Mahender Singh is one of the best left cover defenders of PKL.
Pawan Sehrawat: Pawan Sehrawat almost single handedly led Bulls to the semi-finals, Pawan scored 346 raid points and was comfortably the best raider in PKL 7.
Stable Core: They have also retained or brought back 4 out of their 7 last season’s players maintaining a stable core.
Weakness:
Right Cover:
Bengaluru Bulls lacked a right cover last season and have once again chosen not to significantly strengthen that position although they have bought Mayur Kadam, but he has not played in PKL and his performances were mixed in the Senior Nationals.
Opportunities:
Bengaluru Bulls have the chance to become only the 2nd team to win 2 titles. Pawan Sehrawat also has the chance to cement his status as one of the undisputed stars of the PKL.
Saurabh Nandal and Amit Sheoran:
Saurabh Nandal and Amit Sheoran both showed their potential scoring 56 and 50 tackle points respectively, however, both struggled for consistency. PKL 8 offers both youngsters a chance to cement their status as one of the best corner combinations of PKL.
Threats:
Bulls relied primarily on their raiding to overpower their opponents, but if their raiding does not click then Bengaluru Bulls defence do not have the capabilities to halt their opponents raiding.
